A model balloon attends school

A very demonstrative school lesson could Bastian's mother Angelika hold in June for her pupils of the first grade. Basti brought his model balloon to school at 8 o'clock in the morning to support his mother in class with the subject "air and what it can do".

The kids are waiting curiously what happens next...

... and recognize a bit later, that with the flame of the burner, the envelope begins to rise from the ground. From the theory lesson, they conclude that the air particles all aim upwards and rise to the upper part inside the envelope - guessed right!

Class teacher Angelika gives additional explanations to the object lesson.

After the presentation, the "little technicians" have the possibility to examine the model balloon basket close-by.
