Nice people, excellent weather and a white and blue sky full of balloons awaited
us this year at the 9th Balloon Meeting at Bad Griesbach.
About 20 balloon teams from all over Europe had come to this international meeting.
Of course, our model balloons penguin and cat were not allowed to miss that!
But indeed, we were even more successful with our smallest balloons. This plastic foil balloon has a diameter of about three feet and is heated by a soldering torch.
From baby to granddad - everyone was fascinated.
But that wasn't all yet - in the evening, there was a night glow and some fireworks,
and in the morning, my father Werner and I had the chance to get airborne with big
balloons.
