In 2009, we started our winter season with the König-Ludwig-Montgolfiade at Eisenberg-Zell, which lies somewhere near Füssen in the southern part of Germany. Organiser Thomas Köck had invited us, and we were well busy with wonderful balloon flights over the snowy Allgäu, a nightglow, long-distance model balloon flights and a visit to the meteorological observatory of Altenstadt.
